Re: How Are You? Thread
In here is a tragedy, art thou player or audience?
Be as it may, the end doth remain:
all go on only toward death.
...
There is nothing which cannot become a puppet of fate
or an onlooker, peering into the cage.

Nice Heather tattoo! How much did that cost?
Also, yes. Clearly not doing support work then. I attended all the training but when I went to the special units I looked around and thought "I can't fucking do this."
I don't think lesser of them but I know my limits. I know I can't provide the support they need. Got concerned about accidentally hurting them through handling. Doesn't that sound terrible that last sentence?
And yet that's clearly what's happened. My respect for support workers has gone seriously upwards. Because they can do what I can't.
So give me a retail job! Stack shelves. Sort incoming stock and more importantly, zone out. That's my level of working. I can't pretend to be something I'm not. Fuck it. Give me a field with potatoes to pull out.
Despite this setback, I'm still quite happy with how things have turned out.
Also, I would like to torture the people who decided that "apply online, create password, password too short, you have already got an account, change password and... The vacancies gone!" is a great way to recruit people.
My glory days are gone but I wouldn't have them back to the happiness I feel now.

You can bet your bottom dollar on that.
