Well I attended. Signed and completed forms. Took a Maths and English test. Had a chat with a member of their staff and watched her tick my answers on her sheet. I have the necessary paperwork should a two week training course begins in the last week of February. Guaranteed job interview at the end with employer. Still doesn't mean automatically have the job at the end.
But by Christmas if it goes wrong I can go well that mad year trying to change career to a Support Worker!

It is feeling clammy all of a sudden, in spite of the recent freezing climate we experienced in Scotland. 
Yesterday, I went for a good walk up to Straiton, which is just outside of Edinburgh. There's a viaduct that's located out by Bilston leading to Rosslin, where Tom Hanks shot a scene for a certain movie.

I actually don't drink that often, and am actually a fairly responsible drinker for the most part. Yeah, see I've given up drinking. Even over Christmas period. I think it was funnily enough, Lockdown 2020! Just even when shopping just walked past the stacked ranges.
There's this sober mindset that's raging around me. I am not helping because my method is withdrawal.
Giving up drinking doesn't necessarily make you a nicer person. I was still able to destroy friendships irl when sober.
But I've switched to soft drinks and put alcohol money aside for something else.
And obviously seek out to professional help. But they are going to advise useful changes. One change they might suggest might be to stop drinking. I suppose I say to myself I just want a soft drink. Or look to an alternative to alcohol that's available.
Clearly gave up parties etc haha.
