Doing a Silent Hill LP in Latin with English subtitles, more will be up shortly. Have most of Tomb Raider 1/PS1 up already also, among other things. Learning Latin helps you to improve your English vocabulary and to learn any other related indo european language. I have a video discussing the animals and monsters in Tomb Raider here:

And some recipes, ancient Roman ones and Korean ones.
Also some videos in English such as this one on language learning in general:

it is where i have been when there has been no silent hill news.

These videos are incredible! Looking forward to seeing the Silent Hill one. And it's inspiring seeing you really get into learning the language.
Ah, secondary school in whatever form year I was in the late 1988..It was offered. Learn Latin alongside French lessons instead of going home for your lunch everyday?
Iwanttogohome etc
Another one for my alternate universe. Great thread!

lol thanks!
in 7th and 8th grade they were offered if you got good grades in English, etc the previous year here at my school. I'm sure they died off with the retirement of the teacher Dr. Psuty, who was old enough to have taught my mom's generation Latin.
But yeah it's been fun but mainly because of using it for fun stuff probably.
might hand out halloween candy this year, depends. i should buy a pumpkin today. while i'm in town
