Just a short side by side video of some of the buildings and areas that can be seen or entered in both SH1 and SH0.

May I say it? Alright, I'll say it if I may or not: SH1 is still creepiest! The snow (or ashes) fall got a best effect than just a fog, apart from the graphic quality. Snow falling means nature is agains you, a strong horror element. I am sorry for those like SH0, but SH1 is still a best game to play.

Awesome video. I always love things like this.

One of my favorite things about the series was revisiting or even just seeing old locations and how they changed over the years. I also adore Origins, so double cool.

Great video. I also enjoy going back to old locations. It makes me want to play SH1 again.

Thank you nur_ein_tier.

Thanks for sharing! I enjoyed watching it. :)
It's been a while since I've played Origins, but that made me feel nostalgic.

Thanks. Yeah, I have a whole bunch of videos from SH0 on my other computer too, to compare those locations, but haven't gotten around to finishing that one yet.

Should probably finish my playthrough video of sh1 first, in which I just defeated the moth boss and went through the sewers.

To be fair - I think the team behind Origins did a pretty good job at replicating, and updating the hospital and surrounding SH1 streets (even replicating the shops and Konami Burger)
The game might not have been perfect, but at least if felt mostly classic SH - which is more than can be said for anything made after it (Homecoming, Downpour, SHSM, as much as I like those games on their own merit)

My only gripe is what they did to Lisa - her character was just too different..

This is one of the reasons I love Origins so much. It did a really awesome job at feeling like an updated SH1 style game. None of the others come even close.

I loved wandering the streets and going through random buildings between the levels etc. The ambience is awesome as well.

Yeah, i agree with LisaGarland. They did a nice job on the visuals and the areas, though the Lisa character seemed a bit off to me. Looked weird too.
