Since Silent Hill differs massively from games like those that make up the Resident Evil franchise, a game with different characters in a seasonal game would be a good idea, if executed well.

The town always draws people in from all walks of life, so a series where each episode has a mini story (like the one with Maria and Ernest) would be a great way to expand the universe. Plus, you always found notes about people in the older games, so maybe we could have a game revolving around Stanley, the loon who loved Heather, or maybe other characters we could read about.

Definitely sounds intriguing.
