I disagree. I think it is better than DP and probably Origins. It doesn't contradict canon. The story is actually consistent.

Though I think the game needed polishing and less influence from the suits. This is why it's a wreck.

I think it was about money and sales. Personally, perhaps the 2nd game being successful will lead to a remake of 1, 3, and 4.

I loved the remake for 3. But I found the clock tower to be filler. I did love the atmosphere though. I don't understand why the remake for 3 gets so much hate.
