I think everybody just remakes whatever will make the most money. It's also not vital that you play SH1 either. With Capcom, they remade every mainline game up to RE4 besides CV. I keep seeing that a rating has been added to the title. We might be close...

The last email I got form Gamestop had the box cover of SH2RE listed. I was marked as coming soon.

I have seen a mod of RE2Remake that add tanks controls and fixed camera angels.

Man oh man does it look like fun. I wish Capcom added this......

They have handled the remakes well (except 3 although it wasn't horrible) and have kept this franchise form disappearing into obscurity like this franchise.
